Digital Voice
Launched Digital Voice to bring app-native, WebRTC, and privacy-first voice experiences into enterprise digital journeys, generating ₹8 Cr+ pipeline in two quarters.

Digital Voice: Launching the Next Generation of Enterprise Communications
Overview
Digital Voice was launched to help enterprises move beyond traditional telephony and deliver seamless, contextual voice experiences directly within mobile apps, websites, and digital platforms. The product combined capabilities such as WebRTC calling, in-app voice, OTT calling, call masking, and IP-PSTN fallback into a unified communication solution.
As the Product Marketing lead for the launch, I owned the positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and demand generation initiatives that brought the product to market.
The Challenge
Despite rapid digital transformation, enterprise voice communication remained heavily dependent on traditional telephony infrastructure. Most businesses viewed voice as a standalone channel rather than an integrated part of the digital customer journey.
The challenge was twofold:
- Educate the market on the benefits of app-native and internet-based voice communications.
- Create a differentiated narrative that positioned Digital Voice as a business growth and customer experience solution rather than just another telephony product.
My Approach
Market Research & Customer Discovery
Conducted extensive customer interviews, competitive analysis, and market research across Mobility, Logistics, E-commerce, Fintech, and Contact Center industries.
Key insights identified:
- High telephony costs associated with traditional calling.
- Poor customer experiences caused by call switching and app exits.
- Growing demand for contextual communication embedded directly within digital experiences.
- Increased interest in privacy-first communication through call masking.
- India-based businesses were unable to reach out to prospects in India due to compliance and TRAI norms.
